Nellie – Now Adopted!

Nellie is home!

We are very pleased to announce that Nellie is home, and she didn’t even move!

Nellie came into the care of GBSR after her home circumstances changed and she was being put outside on her own every day and only saw her family when she was allowed back in for the night it was a very, very lonely existence.

7-year-old Nellie has been in foster with Kirsty and her fur siblings Luna & Keera for a few weeks now and the bond between the girls has been fabulous from the start.

Fast forward to today and this girl has absolutely flourished in her foster home, its where she was always meant be, surrounded by furry friends and loving pawrents.

So when Kirsty asked if she could adopt Nellie, we just couldn’t say no it was right for Nellie she was already ‘home’ and we are chuffed to bits for her.

So please join us in congratulating Kirsty & David in adopting beautiful Nellie and we are already looking forward to following your new adventures with your forever family.

A little of Nellie’s story below,

We were contacted by her owner to see if we could help with Nellie, her owner had to go back to working full time and hasn’t got the time to give Nellie the life she deserves. She was being left outside all day and only being brought inside at night time, that’s not fair to any dog.

She will be visiting our vet’s for a full health check.

Nellie is now in foster with Kirsty law & David Mcculloch in Scotland she has settled really well and getting on well with fur sisters Keera & Luna
