Pumpkin – Now Adopted
Pumpkin is generally a placid dog who wants to please. She can be a bit nervous around people and will bark until reassured when new people come into the home.
She loves playing and sometimes will get mouthy, this is corrected with a firm no. Its not aggressive its over excitement. She is a little more cautious around children.
When outside Pumpkin thinks everyone needs some Pumpkin sugar so she will greet everyone with a wagging tail, and she is happy walking out with other dogs or on her own. She is also fascinated by bikes and will try to chase them, this has been discouraged in her foster home and she is gradually getting better at ignoring them.

Things to be aware of:
Pumpkin needs daily eye drops for her Dry Eyes, this is Optrex and is readily available and its essential she has these.
The ideal home:
Pumpkin has really flourished in her foster home and she has enjoyed having all the attention for herself. Although she has been in foster with another dog, on further assessment we have changed this and Pumpkin will need to be in a dog free home.
She has not really been around children and as she can get very excited when she starts playing, we feel any children in the home will need to be aged 10 years and over.
Pumpkin does not do long walks preferring 3 short walks a day.

Pumpkins foster mum has described having Pumpkin in foster as an absolute pleasure. And we have all seen her character really starting to shine through.
Pumpkin does get a bit stressed in the car. Her Foster mum has worked on this but considering Pumpkins stress, we are looking for a new home for her as close to Bristol as we can
