Ronnie – Now Adopted

Ronnie is described by his foster mum as a dog who loves fuss. He adores being patted and stroked, especially if you find the right spot under his chin! He is a clever athletic boy who requires stimulation and exercise otherwise you will soon know about it!!!

Ronnie walks well on a collar and lead with no pulling at all. He will happily walk in a pack of dogs but can get a bit excitable if the other dogs are too.

He is an absolute pleasure with other dogs. He loves to meet new friends and loves a good old game of chase.
His recall is questionable, like so many deaf eared stubborn bullies! It will mostly depend on his mood at the time and sometimes he will choose to grace you with his return, sometimes not!

Ronnie is a very clever boy and can sit and give a paw. He also understands get on and get of his bed.
Ronnie isn’t a fan of the bath and his cleaning routine but will comply if needed. His sad face will be prominent throughout all cleaning procedures!
Ronnie is a bit of a mans man and does enjoy the company of males over females.

Things to be aware of:

Ronnie is still a young dog and still learning. He requires an owner who is prepared to continue to instill boundaries and continue his training.
Ronnie can be toy possessive, especially with his balls which is not unusual with bulldogs. His new owner will need awareness of this as he will warn other dogs away.
Ronnie loves rough play but can get over excited and mouth so care must be taken.
Ronnie has some allergies and can become itchy. Ronnie is on a raw diet and this will need to continue in his new home. We can give full advice on this to the successful applicant.
Ronnie is neutered.

The ideal home:

Ronnie is a super lovable big goon who doesn’t know his own strength and has limited boundaries. He requires an active family who can provide him with the attention he craves.
Ronnie has a fondness for trying to remove any post you may receive and this includes boxes! He is however very clever and willing to learn so with continued training and with boundaries he will be an amazing companion.
Ronnie is a big boy and can be very boisterous. It is easy for him to knock over young children and overpower them so Ronnie must live with children aged 13 and over so they understand and can help with training and boundaries.
Ronnie has happily lived with a dog in foster and would love a furry playmate to live with.

Other comments:

Ronnie is such an amazing character and with continued training he will continue to flourish. Ronnie is crate trained.
