Lola – Adopted

Lola is Home

We are delighted to share that Lola has found her forever home.

Lola came into foster with us at the beginning of April after being reported as a stray on a caravan site. Understandably a little unsure at first, it didn’t take long for her sweet nature to shine through.

She was welcomed into foster by Andy in the South East, where she finally had the opportunity to be safe, warm, well cared for and loved. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Andy for yet another fantastic foster placement. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do to help our dogs on their journey to finding forever homes.

Over the weekend, Lola was collected by Tracy and Mick and has already settled beautifully into family life. From cosy naps to plenty of fuss and attention, she has made herself completely at home.

Congratulations to Tracy, Mick and Lola on finding one another. We wish you many happy years together filled with love, laughter and wonderful memories.

Lola is a young girl, just two years old, who was heartbreakingly found alone, foraging for scraps at a campsite — scared, hungry, and with no one looking out for her

After serving her seven-day hold in kennels, we were contacted and asked if we could take her… and there was no way we could say no to those eyes. Yesterday, Lola’s life began to change. She was collected by Sherrill and safely transported to Andy in the South East, where — for the very first time in what we can only imagine has been a long time — she slept in the warmth and safety of a home

A soft place to rest, a full belly, and the quiet comfort of knowing she wasn’t alone anymore. A huge thank you to Sherrill for helping bring Lola to safety, and to Andy for opening your home and your heart to her

Today, Lola visited our vets. She’s now on antibiotics for a suspected urine infection and anti-inflammatories for her sore, inflamed foot. She is underweight, and her little body shows signs of having been used for breeding… and then discarded when she was no longer needed. It’s hard to imagine what she’s been through. But what we do know is this — her story doesn’t end there. With the right care, nourishing food, gentle hands, and all the love she has always deserved, Lola will begin to heal… not just physically, but emotionally too. She has a journey ahead of her, but she will never have to face it alone again

🤍
