Lily – Now Adopted

Lily – Now Adopted

Lily has made quite the impression on her foster family and they describe her as a typical lazy, stubborn bully with a heart of gold. She is very much a family dog who adores humans both little and large!

Lily enjoys her walks and gets excited when she sees her harness and runs to the door to wait for you. She happily walks in a pack or on her own and isn’t bothered by noise or unfamiliar dogs while out and about. She doesn’t pull while on the lead and walks nicely beside you.

Lily is a tad stubborn with her recall and she can turn the deaf ear if desired so awareness must be shown!

Lily is a clever girl and can sit, give a paw, lay down, go in her bed and leaves when asked.

Lily loves her toys, especially her ball and shows no possessiveness around them at all.

Lily can become over excited with rough play and become a bit humpy!

Lily enjoys having a good clean and pamper when her foster mum tells her and she will happily comply when told to come.

Things to be aware of:
Lily has had an unsettled past and was gifted to us as the family were struggling to toilet train her. Since being with us Lily has rarely had any accidents and is fully toilet trained in her foster home, this however may change when she moves and she may need time and patience to fully settle

In the new home. Lily does have dry eye which is managed with lubricating drops at a minimal cost. Lily is on burns sensitive food which she is happy and settled on. Lily can sometimes be unnerved by new things and different noises such as play fighting. Her foster family have worked hard on this and she has made big improvements. She can still bark though so she will need continued training going forward.

The ideal home:
Lily is an absolute treasure and any family will be lucky to offer her a home. She still requires boundaries and training to ensure manners are formed. Lily will fit well into any family environment and adores children and has lived with them in foster and prior to being in rescue. Lily enjoys the company of other dogs and has lived with them with no issues in foster. We feel she really needs a furry pal in her furever home.

Other comments:
Lily has been a pleasure in foster. She is crate trained and has the door open in the day but closed at night.

Lily is spayed.

Lily is toilet trained and travels well, we will consider a new home for her up to 4 hours from her current location in Burnham-on-Crouch, South East.
